Admission Process

Application timeline, age- and grade-appropriate assessments and interviews, and how admission decisions are made.

American Jordanian Secondary School & Kindergarten welcomes families seeking a rigorous, supportive, and English-medium educational environment. Admissions are based on available spaces, academic readiness, and the individual needs of each student.

Application Timeline

New student applications generally open in mid-March and continue through early April. Applications may be accepted afterward depending on available spaces. Families are encouraged to contact the School for current deadlines and grade-level availability.

Assessment & Interview

Applicants may be required to complete an age- and grade-appropriate assessment and/or interview:

  • Kindergarten: School-readiness assessment/interview.
  • Elementary: Academic English language and math assessment.
  • Grades 7–12: Entrance assessment and interview.

Requirements may vary based on the student’s grade and educational background.

Admissions Decision

Admission decisions consider academic readiness, English proficiency where applicable, assessment results, interview performance, and available spaces.
